Biodiversa is looking for 3 Polish participants to take part in the training course “Transition Communities: alternatives for a sustainable city life”, which will take place in Valeri, Asturias, Spain, from 27th May to 2nd June 2013.
Accomodation, food and 70% of your travel costs will be covered, provided that you comply with the Youth in Action rules of reimbursement (economy class, travel dates, maximum reimbursement…).
You will learn how to reduce your environmental impact and at the same time get inspired to start resilient communities and promote local transition projects towards a sustainable civilization.
34 young leaders from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Moldova, Georgia, Ukraine, Cyprus, Spain, Poland and Czech Republic will exchange and develop the knowledge to start a transition project in their neighborhood or city and multiply the impact by sharing these skills with others.
This learning experience is achieved through non-formal education methods (games and exercises/ group dynamics, workshops, field visits, round tables, etc …), combining peer to peer education and counseling, carried over by experienced trainers and facilitators, so that new knowledge is generated through collective intelligence.
Skills acquired in this course will improve you as a person and also help for your professional development. The course is entirely in English.

If you are over 18 years old, of polish nationality and interested in participating, please fill in the following form as soon as possible, as the original deadline is already over:
